QuestionWhirlpool is replacing my Kitchenaid #KRSC503 installed 2018 with the replacement model KRSC703, the current model, as the 503 model has a problem considered "unrepairable". Are the dimensions the same as the 503 model fits very tightly in the space?

- Answer Hi, The cabinet width on the KRS503 is 35 1/2" and on the KRSC703 35 3/4" Depth, KRS503 30" and on KRSC703 29 9/16" (with doors closed excluding handles) Height to top of door hinge KRS503 71 1/4" and KRSC703 71 3/8"

QuestionHas anyone noticed that the piece that covers the sides and top of the ice maker is not flush to the door? Are you suppose to see the insulation underneath on the sides and top or is this some type or part or manufacturing issue? Have you encountered?

- Answer Yes. We own this one also and you can see the glue and insulation in places where it's not lined up or put together property. For the high cost, one would expect this fridge to be put together correctly and look high quality. It does not.

QuestionWhat is daily production of ice and ice maker bin capacity?

- Answer The ice bucket (in my experience) will go from zero to full of cubes in about 30 hours. When the fridge arrived new, the installation team recommended I dispose the first 3 buckets of ice to flush out the system (similar to flushing a few gallons from the water dispenser). Getting to 3 buckets took about 4 days after installation to complete.
