A:AnswerI never noticed anything about a garbage disposal, then again we always clean off any food from our plate ahead of time. Quick rinse and it goes to the dishwasher. I did do my purchase from online, as I was confident in KitchenAid to stand up to the test of time. I never heard of one with a disposal, I would probably call the sales associate and confirm, maybe it was a misunderstanding. Sorry I couldn't be of anymore help.
A:AnswerMJSS, unfortunately, there is not another tray that is available to fit this Dishwasher. We would only recommend using the tray in the location that it was designed and tested to be used in.
A:AnswerHi JB, yes we do have an hour wash cycle on this Dishwasher. The name of the cycle is Express Wash. This cycles runs from 55 minutes to an hour long. We hope this information helps.
A:AnswerI am not a fan of stainless steel, but there didn't seem to be any models without it. I was very concerned about fingerprints and cleaning stains on the outside of this product, but there doesn't seem to be a problem.

A:AnswerI haven't seen it in any showroom that I have visited. I can't even find white models. Everything seems to be stainless steel now days. By the way, I have purchased a Kitchen Aid dishwasher in stainless steel but have not been able to get a delivery as yet. It seems they are on endless back order. Good luck with Almond.

A:AnswerHello! This model Dishwasher dry via a phenomenon called condensate dry. No dishwasher actually requires a vent. BUT depending on the tub and other technology designed on the unit, some dishwashers have been designed with vents to ENHANCE the drying performance. There may be some steam released when opening the door, but we do offer moisture barrier strips that can be placed underneath the counter tops to protect them.
A:Answerckelly, thanks for the inquiry. The dishwasher has to go through a cycle before going through an option such as drying. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our KitchenAid appliances!
A:AnswerViewed Prop 65 website. Prop 65 is officially the Safe drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. It’s a law that requires warnings to be provided to California consumers when they might be exposed to chemicals identified by California as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. It lists a bunch of chemicals found to cause health risks. I’m thinking that a chemical in the detergent used is probably the concern for the Cali prop 65 warning. Most items have that warning label on them, including Christmas lights, foods, alcoholic beverages, beauty products, motor vehicles, snack goods, etc.
A:AnswerThat is a good question. Proposition 65 requires warning labels on any product that may contain or product any of 600-plus elements that the California Air Resources board considers a carcinogen or reproductive toxicant. Information about Proposition 65 is available on the official California web site http://www.oehha.ca.gov.prop65.html
