“The dishwasher seems to have heat to dry but doesn’t ever dry the interior of the machine - it’s constantly wet ? Seems like it will be a cause for mold down the line ? Is there a way to det the interior of the machine too ?”

Ours does the same thing. We leave the door open to let air dry.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, please make sure that you are using a Rinse Aid with your unit. Your dishwasher is designed to use rinse aid for good drying performance. Without rinse aid, your dishes and dishwasher interior will have excessive moisture. The Heat Dry option will not perform as well without rinse aid. For most water conditions, the factory setting will give good results. However, if you are experiencing poor drying performance, you may want to try a higher setting. Turn the arrow adjuster inside the dispenser to change rinse aid setting.Thank you for your inquiry on our KitchenAid appliances.
