• NO, it is so mild you would hardly notice it unless standing there barefoot and then a very mild feeling. One of my cats likes it.

• Yes! It throws off a tremendous amount of heat! Don’t care for that at all! I have also found that after using the self cleaning oven once it stained the glass.

• Mine hasn't. There is heat coming out but not excessive. Mine has cabinetry around and it hasn't marked it.
