What to do if it doesn’t make ice cubes null

Had refrigerator 5 days ago and the ice maker does not make 3lbs of ice..it never fills up even after not using it for 24hrs. Curious if there is an adjustment that I'm missing for it to make more than a trays worth (which only fills 2 to 4 glasses)???
