- Answer The cooktop comes with all new fan and motor so shouldn’t need to match up the dimensions to existing. You will most likely need new duct and high heat tape from hardware store to route the exhaust to your current exit. Hope that helps. I installed mine myself, was not that difficult. Might need two people, it’s heavy to lift in motor connected.

QuestionMy cooktop seems to cook too hot. For instance, simmer is way too hot and causes burning on bottom of pot. I have natural gas. I have tried all of burners too. Anyone have a solution or similar problem ?

- Answer Are you using the downdraft when you cook? Putting the fan on always cools the flame. Also , i think you can adjust the size of the flames on the burner with a screwdriver. Call KitchenAid

QuestionIs the grill dishwasher safe?

- Answer The grill is made of cast iron. Putting that in dishwasher is not recommended. It will rust after sometime. Better to wash by hand with dry paper towel. Also pretty heavy for the dishwasher. Thanks Supratim
