• A:Answer The cooktop comes with all new fan and motor so shouldn’t need to match up the dimensions to existing. You will most likely need new duct and high heat tape from hardware store to route the exhaust to your current exit. Hope that helps. I installed mine myself, was not that difficult. Might need two people, it’s heavy to lift in motor connected.

Q: QuestionMy cooktop seems to cook too hot. For instance, simmer is way too hot and causes burning on bottom of pot. I have natural gas. I have tried all of burners too. Anyone have a solution or similar problem ?

Q: QuestionI originally had a Jennaire down draft that was electric and looking to replace it with this gas model. Other than running a gas line what else would I need to do before Best Buy installs it? Do I need to change the plug if it is a dedicated circuit?

• A:Answer you will need to vent the gas cooktop. that can be tricky if you don't have an existing vent. you will also need a gasfitter to run you a gas line. the electric is 110v
