QuestionI originally had a Jennaire down draft that was electric and looking to replace it with this gas model. Other than running a gas line what else would I need to do before Best Buy installs it? Do I need to change the plug if it is a dedicated circuit?

- Answer you will need to vent the gas cooktop. that can be tricky if you don't have an existing vent. you will also need a gasfitter to run you a gas line. the electric is 110v

- Answer Shouldn’t unless you have a massive overflow. There’s a ridge inside that would prevent most spills from going into the vent.

- Answer you have to look at the cut out specs for both. there is always a lip on the cooktop but I would try to keep the cut out specs the same.
