  • QuestionIf it does not come with a power cord does that mean it is hard wired?

    Asked by Jon.

    • Answer Hello! For model KCES956KBL KitchenAid® Cooktop, per the Installation Instructions, https://shorturl.at/uzKor , it cannot be hard wired. You would need to purchase the power cord separately. Due to homes having different electrical outlets, we allow the customers to provide their own power cords, on most appliances. As one home may have a 3-prong outlet set up and another has a 4-prong setup, or if an appliance has the ability to be directly wired, then no power cord is needed. This way a customer may provide what best fits the needs of their home needs. We hope this helps. Thank you for your inquiry on our KitchenAid appliances.
