“Am buying KA 36" cooktop KCED606GBL either w/ stainless steel trim on top and bottom OR w/ beveled edges & no SS trim. Salesperson said beveled edges r strong & wont break. ALSO read scratching of glass is a problem. PLS let me know your experience.”

They are made of strong ceramic and from my experience in 6 years never had a scratch. But was told the ones with stainless trim, the trim does scratch. I see it in the store on display. So I ask. They scratch along edge but the non trim ones still looked new!
