• You need both. This model uses gas for cook top and 240v for ovens

• Dual fuel means you need electricity and gas.

• you need both. this range has a safety feature that shuts the gas off when there is no power.

• I do not believe this answer is correct. You do NOT need a gas hookup. But I will defer to Kitchen Aid's answer on this. Other dual ranges require only an electrical outlet. I doube this one would be any different.
