“Is there a large burner that can go high and also simmer for large pots like in the tri ring technology on the cooktop?”

• The 20,000 BTU burners have a power range and a simmer range. As you say, would only be a simmer for large pots, need to use the 9,000 BTU burner for delicate sauces

• Hi largeburnersimmer, For this model, the Center burner is the only burned labeled as a Simmer/Melt Burner. We hope this helps.

• Yes, the large high btu burners can be used to simmer. If you turn the grate over and move the setting to the simmer/lower setting it will simmer. I was a little sceptical of this when we were reading the description but it works. There is also a small simmer burner on the back that can be used.
