Q: QuestionWhat would the reason be for open box. I do want a new PR but kinda weird to buy unless i knew the reason WHY they're open box. Wouldn't buy IF they were actually used.
Asked by John.
- A:Answer Open box is a risk you take. It’s like buying furniture that was the floor sample. It could be perfect and you’re getting a deal or it could have been used for 6 weeks and returned. I personally would always pay the extra to have something new plus a warranty and extended return time. It’s the mental insurance of knowing you covered your basis and not saying down the line “I wish I would have”

Q: QuestionMostly listen to music...no sub, no center and pairing with a HK3490, good and smart or bad and dumb.
Asked by Bob.
- A:Answer I use just for music, vinyl specifically. They have a pretty strong bass but I still prefer having the Klipsch subwoofer at -7db. It’s the engine to me and gives live music specifically the depth needed. Klipsch has the proper cross over settings to program the sub so it doesn’t over power. I also raise the treble to +3 on the speakers giving a brighter sound to enhance vocals, piano, and more hidden layered sounds that often go unheard. A center speaker would only be necessary if adding to 2 more in the back for cinema surround. The 2 for music envelope a small to large room very well.

Q: QuestionCan these speakers be placed on their sides, or will they function only in upright position?
Asked by Boogie.
- A:Answer Upright only. While there really isn’t a rule on distance to many, I spaced them on either corner of the room with a 17 foot gap in between. They are angled inward and bounce of the walls and ceiling perfectly to fill the room. I keep the sub in the center although it can be behind or anywhere. But they need to be upright only.

Q: QuestionDo these speakers go good with demon dra 800h receiver
Asked by Trixie.
- A:Answer Not familiar with that one in particular but if you have or can find the specs on it, these speakers can handle 150 watts RMS (continuous) and up to 600 watts peak/max (short burst) and they are rated from 34hz up to 21khz and are 98% efficient at 8 ohms. Hope this helps...
