Would these work with a Yamaha RX-V379 receiver? null

Yes, they would work w any receiver pretty much.

Only use a receiver 150w+ or find different speakers. You will never be able to get the most out of the speakers you are paying for because the receiver won’t be able to handle the wattage; and there’s always the possibly to damage your speakers by adding to much pressure with a receiver that cannot power what you are hoping to achieve. Knowing I also was going to power a sub and potentionally down the line some other surround speakers I invested in a 300w to insure that the receiver could handle everything.

From what I have found, the Yamaha RX-V379 supplies 70 watts per channel into 8 ohms (20-20,000 Hz) at 0.09% THD, with 2 channels driven. The R-800F II has a power handling of 150 Watts at 8 Ohms. Klipsch recommends utilizing a receiver/amplifier that supplies close to this value to ensure quality audio reproduction and longevity of the speaker's internal parts.
