I would not advise using this as a front speaker. If towers are out of the question due to cost, get yourself a decent pair of bookshelf speakers like the Klipsch RP-150M (around $325 a pair on sale). I use a pair of RP-150Ms for my back channel - the have a clean and faithful sound, plus you can crank them up and they sound amazing!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would not. Also I would not install front speakers higher than the TV. Please consider bookshelf speakers designed for on axis response to the listening position. Also consider front speakers with matching sound quality to the rest of your system. If too close to the TV they will need to be shielded. Alternatively you could play with the room, or possibly set up in a different room in order to have more options. Do some diligence and be rewarded with a great system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think you can but it would not be my first choices. I would look at some of the Klipsch other book self speakers. They may be a little bit heavier and a little bigger but they would be about the same price and in my opinion a better balance sound. Still, if space is a really big problem then I would try those speakers. You do know that you have to order them, right? If that is OK with you then go for it and when you get them hook them up and listen to them and if you think they do not have the sound that you want then send them back! Check if they charge a restocking fee before you order. That way there is not a surprise if there is when you order them! Hope this helps. PS check out these klipsch speakers. I have the 400-watt speakers for surround speakers they have a good rang of sound in my opinion. The size of your room if not large may be able to use smaller speakers just fine. Hard to help when one does not know what equipment is used and the space it will be in size wise. This is the best I can do for you. maybe someone else can help better than me.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I can recommend that application. I have a pair performing fine as right and left speakers running off an old Pioneer tuner amp for a 55 inch 4K TV in an entertainment center. works very well! Happy Listening
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on your room size. Front speakers should preferably be full range speakers. There is no magic with speakers, small will always sound tiny, a decent setup requires full range LCR speakers as large as you can fit in your room and powerfull subwoofer to sound realistic. The sorrounds and atmos speakers can be smaller.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO. They are 'Upfiring' Atmos speakers. Regular surround speakers would work for Center Speakers.
