To my knowledge the jump cables work with Klipsch speakers only.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The jumper cables are not needed, but if you place the speakers on top of your towers the cables are an easy and seamless hook up. The wires come from the receiver and hook to the klipsch towers, then you use the cables to plug into the speakers. Pretty sure if you have towers that are the same way you could use those, but that set up, at least in my opinion is for use with OE towers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are still wires from the bottom of the Klipsch tower to the receiver for both the surround and the tower/front speaker. So, 4 wires total. Not sure if it would work with another speaker type.
