• A:Answer From my understanding these speakers are meant to be placed on top of your floor standing speakers or mounted to the wall. The mounting bracket underneath doesn't seam to allow for a ceiling mount support but perhaps you can get away with it but i wouldn't recommend it bc they could slide off female built in bracket and fall to the ground if they are mounted vertically. My setup allows the sound to bounce off the ceiling. I don't know how to tech a proper dobly atmos setup. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionPower is Marantz SR 8012 receiver. I also have 2 pair of the Chorus 2 speakers in the front with 2 RS 115SW subs and quartets for the rear. So my question is would it be best to hook a set of these directly to the Chorus 2 and the quartets? Steve

• A:Answer You will want to connect the R-40SA II into your receiver's HEIGHT or ATMOS channels. We do not recommend connecting these speakers into your Chorus' terminal connectors.

• A:Answer The R-40SA features a keyhole mount that will accept a #10 or #12, 2.5" - 3" panhead wood screws. Mount in wall stud or use anchors - leave 1/4" exposed. This information can be found within the Owner's Manual.
