• Yes to the speaker. Any sub will work because they have their own amplifier.

• Yes the speaker should work great with your receiver. I have the same floor speakers with the klipsh 12 inch sub and they sound great together

• My Denon AVR 750 does a great job. I paired the R120 SW sub. Shakes the walls! Great for movies and music.
