A:AnswerYes, this camera can take pictures up to around 2 inches away from a subject when on Micro mode (easy to switch too on Micro Button). It auto focuses if you press half way down on Shutter Button on top of camera. Works good. Regular pictures not on micro mode are sharp from ~6-8 inches away from subject.

A:AnswerNo, you have to purchase a wall charger for the LB-012 battery that comes with camera in box. You do get a USB to Micro USB cable to charge battery while in camera which works good. There is an orange light that shows it is charging on the camera back and goes off when fully charged letting you know it ready to use again. Works good.
