- Answer No, this lock works just like a standard deadbolt lock. Just with the added advantage of the electronics.

- Answer Works with bluetooth out of box.When your outside just touch the lock,the blue ring will spin and door locks,same when entering.Hub would be used then your away from house and you want to open door

QuestionDoes this have a drive-in latch option? Our other kwikset (normal old school) knobs did when we replaced the ugly ones throughout the house. Wondering if this high tech one also has the option, or if you have to use the plate.

- Answer Yes, why not, as long as your bedroom lock has a deadbolt. If not, you will probably need to have a deadbolt installed before you can use this on a bedroom door. I probably wouldn't recommend it though...

- Answer This system comes as a complete set. You cannot pair it with another deadbolt. If you already have lock and want the smart function I would recommend the August.
