“Does this work with the new android pie update? Heard others say it kinda doesnt work.”

• Mine didn't work at all after the update. Ive got the Galaxy note 8. After reading several blogs with others having the same problem, one person had a simple fix that I tried and it worked. I guess the update changes settings. All I did was went into settings and turned the NFC back on and my case came back to life. I hope this helped. Good luck

• Yes, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 can be upgraded to Android Pie but the listing is just for the case and not the phone.
