Yes you upgrade to any type of hard drive your desire as long as its a laptop drive. It also has an M.2 slot so you can install an M.2 ( and M.2 PCIe) SSD drive.

All work on this system must be performed by a certified technician so as to not void the warranty. A certified technician can replace the HHD with a compatible replacement.
