The laptop is best suited for basic stuff. It has a decent processor and 8GB RAM, which makes multitasking basic activities seamless. I have been using this for a month now and I am happy with it's performance.

Having up to 10 tabs open is heavy use and would lessen the battery life of this device. You need a processor with higher processor cache memory than this processor has - 2MB. A Core I-7 processor would have 4MB of cache memory. This would be more compatible with your described workload.
