A:Answerhopefully you can see this image this is from Lenovo companion, it shows exactly what amount of ram the laptop can support, I have this laptop and it does support a 16gb in the slot I have tested it with a friends ram. since I cant at the moment afford a 16gb chip myself I wanted to be sure it would before I do buy one when I can. as ive stated before I'm not sure this Lenovo expert knows their products very well. maybe try saving the image and zooming in on it if needed.
A:Answerthe video memory that dedicates is dependant on the memory chip you add to it, the 4gb chip it comes with alots 512mb, however the system uses the rest of the memory as dynamic so you get more memory for games, that is why I play GTA V on it with no problems just have to set ignore limits. with an 8gb chip it alots 1024 video ram. I'm not sure but my guess is the more memory u add the more it will a lot to dedicate for video, haven't tested it as of yet but will soon by adding a 16gb dd4 chip.
