A:AnswerThis laptop has 4 GB soldered on the board and a single DIMM slot. That slot contains a 4 GB DiMM. Therefore when you buy this in store it comes with 8 GB. The issue I have is that the Best Buy says its expandable to 16 GB. The so called Lenovo experts commenting on these posts say 16 GB BUT if you go read the Service documentation it says the max memory supported is 8 GB. I am not happy to have just purchased this after being told it can hold 16 GB and now the service documentation says 8 GB.
