This platform is unsuitable for playing 1080i/p video via the HDMI port. The APU's video decoding and processing capabilities still lag behind a 4 year old AMD HD5770 attached to a 8 year old Core 2 quad system.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There's no lag on full HD videos, tried with YouTube and no issue. However, you won't see the quality due to the LCD panel being capped at ~720p. You would have to connect the laptop to an HDTV or monitor to see the quality of a full HD video.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The laptop is capable of running 1080p as long as you dont have alot of tabs or windows opened creating lag. also as long as your monitor has a refresh rate of 60hz or higher it should run 1080 just fine on another monitor.
