Of course, you will have to reinstall Windows, which is a bit of a hassle, as the Windows key is not included on a sticker on these machines. You will need to use third party software to obtain the Windows key prior to changing the hard drive, or you will have to buy another copy of Windows.

Please try again later.yes i installed the pny 240gb gaming edition c2100 and it works fine however copy and paste from the original hard drive the lenovo partition or "drive" labeled lenovo onto a flash drive before installing the new ssd also u will need a windows install disc to install windows as well as it doesn't have a way to copy the file either. i suggest a samsung ssd if anything with this pc just because of the copying programing that comes with the samsung drives.
