“How is purchasing a refurbished product different from a new one concerning warranty, geek squad protection and returns if needed?”

• To my understanding, warranty is still 1 year from purchase, and returns can be made with full refund at any Best Buy as long as it is not a "marketplace" item (meaning it must be directly from Best Buy, not from a 3rd party).

• On the refurbished products there is only a 90 day warranty and you can not purchase the extended warranty. You still have the 15 days to return the item for a full refund.
