“What panel does this laptop use, which appears to be much to cool? Other like laptops seem to have warmer displays which adds greatly to the richness of the image. At the moment, can't use this for photo editing due to RGB color fail.”

I've been using this laptop for about a month and have used it for photo editing. I found the out-of-the-box calibration to be on the cool side but not unusually so. I have calibrated it using i1 Display Pro, and it does calibrate well. The delta-E values are a little higher than what I'd expect from a high-end display, but that is to be expected at the price point. It's also an IPS display, so gamma shifts with viewing angle are not a problem.
