That will depend on the requirements of the editing software you will be using. We recommend you check with the editing software publisher you will be using for their compatibility with Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.

I can't guarantee your NLE program won't miss a beat once in a while since all editing environments vary depending on the complexity and number of tracks you're working with, but I would feel comfortable relying on the 710 as a mobile workstation. I personally edit with Vegas 9 64-bit in 1080p and it is an absolute screamer with its built-in GeForce 940 MX. Hope this helps!
