Can I add ram to this laptop to make it 16 gb? null

This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. There is 4GB of RAM soldered to the motherboard. There is an additional 4GB of RAM within the one RAM memory slot within this configuration. Your certified technician can replace the 4GB RAM stick within the memory slot with an 8GB RAM stick, for a system RAM total of 12GB.

The system specs on the BestBuy website say the system memory is upgradable to 16GB of DDR4 2400 MHz. If you are unfamiliar with doing this you may want to ask geek squad or an experienced computer tech to help you.
