- Answer Yes, this model number 81D2008FUS, has a CD/DVD-RW drive built in. This configuration has the Dual-Core/Four-Thread AMD Ryzen 3 2200U processor. The processor has a base speed of 2.5GHz and a boost speed of up to 3.4GHz. There are several different models of the AMD A9 processor, I would need to know the model number to make a comparison.

QuestionDoes this computer have a DVD drawer? A review I saw says it does not, the Best Buy sales person says it does. Looking to be able to load PC games via DVD tray. I know a lot of newer computer no longer have the DVD tray.

- Answer Yes it does. One of the reasons I bought it--older one did not. I have used it to back up some things and to look at some older stuff I have on DVD (I have desktops that I create them on). I have PC games on DVD that I have not had a chance to load on yet--Jeopardy, wheel of fortune type of games.

- Answer No, the HDMI port on the laptop is to connect an external display (monitor or TV). A fire stick isn't necessary to use streaming services Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime Video. You can simply watch in your internet browser on the laptop.

- Answer Ryzen 3 is a dual core laptop CPU sitting just above the last year core i3s. this would compare to a 2-3 year old i5 laptop processor. the latest core i5 laptop processors carrying 4 cores as does the Ryzen 5. Just put the Ryzen number (3,5,7) next to the corresponding Intel number (i3, i5, i7).

- Answer This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. There is 4GB of RAM soldered to the motherboard. There is an additional 4GB of RAM within the one RAM memory slot within this configuration. Your certified technician can replace the 4GB RAM stick within the memory slot with an 8GB RAM stick, for a system RAM total of 12GB.

- Answer This mode has a 1366 X 768 (HD) resolution screen. There is 8GB of DDR4-2400MHz RAM. There is 4GB soldered to the motherboard and another 4GB stick within the one RAM memory slot within this configuration.
