No... it does not state there is a "Blue Ray" player on the specs. However, I you can attach a stand alone "Blue Ray Player" if needed.. It has an "hdmi" input. Blue Ray players are now very reasonably priced at Best Buy.

No, but it does have a built in CD/DVD-RW drive.
