“I'd want to add another hard drive. Does it have space for it? Is that space 3.5" or only 2.5"? Does it have an extra SATA connector for it? If all of the above are NOs, is it possible to swap the CD drive for a hard drive? That gives me a SATA connector”

There is a dedicated space for an M.2 SSD card. You can add up to 2 TB I put a 500 gig in mine and run the operating system on it and use the terabyte hard drive that came with it to install my programs on.
