The problem is that dell monitors only want to work with dell, you will need to get a different monitor like asus or lenovo brand

Please try again later.Make sure you have your monitor plugged into the graphics card vga/hdmi and not the motherboard vga/hdmi as sometimes the graphics card will override the motherboard. If it is plugged into the card, try a different cable or monitor if you have it. If that doesn't work the card may be bad. You can also take it into the geek squad and have them test it.
