No, it does not. You will have to purchase the FireWire card and install it yourself. It is a pretty easy project, I am looking to do the same thing to mine also.

However I'll warn you that firewire ports are a thing of that past and have been for a few years. USB, lightening, etc have taken over. I have a an old mini DV that I haven't transferred my videos to myself yet. At this point I'll just buy a usb adapter with a firewire port or buy a firewire card it it becomes that serious. good luck finding a new computer with a firwire port though.
