• I own this exact model and upgraded the ram myself to 16G. You need to remove the 2 x 4G ram chips and replace them with 2 X 8G chips. I bought them online (1 x Crucial 16GB (2 x 8G) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) Laptop Memory Model CT2KIT102464BF160B) and they were very easy to replace.

• It states in the specs section that it is expandable to 16GB of Ram
