Not really. I bought and had an issue, Geek Squad had me send it to the Lenovo who identified it as water damage and I had to work with Geek Squad. Geek Squad certified the computer, but accused me of causing the damage and could not show any paperwork on what it was initially turned in for or what they did to refurb/certify it for my particular computer. Long story short, I'm out a computer and neither group stands behind their warranty on it. The burden of proof is on the consumer regardless of if there was a pre-existing condition.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No! It only applies to the remainder of the time from the original purchase--not the refurbished purchase. I found this out the hard way when my wifi card was not working properly. Best Buy's answer was to purchase Geek Squad protection (another $99 fr a year).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One of the laptops that I purchased still had factory warranty through Lenovo. Another one did not. You're lucky if it does but I guess it depends on the model and how long ago the laptop was released. The laptop that did have factory warranty only had 1 month left.
