I purchased a Sabrent docking station, which allows a 2.5" SSD to be connected via a USB connection. The Sabrent docking station also will support a 3.5" internal drive to be plugged in via USB connection ... I've done both ... and with 2 Sabrent docking stations, both SSD drives and 3.5" internal hard drives can be plugged into USB ports (or USB Hubs) simultaneously. My 13 year old Dell Inspiron 531 desktop PC died recently due to a nearby lightning strike late last year. With 2 Sabrent docking stations ... I was able to install the 222 GB drive C: boot drive in one of the Sabrents, and the 1 TB internal hard drive (data drive) that was installed also in the old Dell 531 into the second Sabrent docking station ... which gave me 100% file access to these old disk drives. I purchased a 7 port "Octopus" USB Hub that allows simultaneous access to flash drives, external (portable) USB drives, my 2 Ssbrent docking stations, and with a 6' USB cable, I was able to plug my old HP 1022 monochrome laser jet printer into this same 7 port USB Hub and print to it as my primary printer when I used to only be able to print to it as shared printer attached to the old Dell 531 Pc.
