“Going into sleep mode the power light flashes on and off. Should I be concerned about this burning out the light? Can I change it to stay off? Do you recommend shutting down vs sleep?”

The power light is a low voltage LED. This LED will not burn out.

That is normal for the light to blink. Don't worry about it burning out. Also, I prefer to let it sleep,(it will udate while sleeping) but restart once a month, or if a problem occurs. Keeping it updated is #1 priority.

I’m betting it is an LED bulb in there and since they run on extremely low voltage those lights last about forever!! The computer will reach the end of its life before the LED will!!!
