- Answer Behind the door on the right front of the device are four USB ports, SD card slot, microphone port and headphone port. The door does swing open.

- Answer No it doesn't have a SSD. Yes it's easy to add one. I did that by cloning the HDD onto an SSD and all is good.

QuestionI'm told the max memory for this machine is 32 gb. Can you tell me how many memory slots are on the motherboard and what is the configuration to upgrade from 12 gb to 32 gb? for example: if there are 2 slots do I need 16 gb x 2 sticks?

- Answer The maximum RAM this model number 90HV0005US can support is 16GB DDR4-2666MHz. There are two RAM memory slots. The Lenovo 510A model number 90HV0005US ships with one 8GB stick and one 4GB stick in the memory slots. You can replace the 4GB stick with another 8GB stick for a system total of 16GB.

- Answer It comes with something pre-installed. It probably was McAfee. I recommend removing it, and using Windows Defender if for personal use. Its free, runs in real time and is already on your PC too. Click start, type defender, and launch it. If it notifies you that its off, select to turn it on. It updates with windows updates.

QuestionAny suggestions for an ssd drive to add to this computer? Preferably not a terribly expensive one

- Answer Samsung SSDs have worked best for me. They come with built in cloning software, so if you already setup the machine, you can easily copy it exactly the same before swapping out and replacing the drive. Sizes Vary at 128, 256, 512, and 1TB.

- Answer The blinking light is the hard disk activity light. Either you have very good ears, or make sure your data is backed up. You should always have data backup.

- Answer Yes, but to avoid potential conflicts it is a good idea to remove the operating system (i.e. Windows) from the 2nd hard drive.

- Answer No, model number 90HV0005US does not ship with Intel Optane Memory. The Six-Core/Twelve Thread Intel Core i7-8700 does have Turbo Boost. The base speed of the processor is 3.2GHz and the Turbo Boost Speed is up to 4.6GHz.

Additionally, this model ships with just two adware programs, a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 (as part of Windows 10 operating system) and a 30-day trial of McAfee virus protection. Lenovo computers ship with one of the cleanest factory software installs within the consumer computer industry. QuestionThe product description states 2 USB 3.1 ports and 4 USB 3.0 ports. I see what looks like 8 ports in the images (4 in back and 4 in front). What are the other 2 ports? Are they all backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices?
