A:AnswerHey,
Based on the system requirements for Blackboard listed on their site, this IdeaPad 1 should support the software.

A:AnswerMicrosoft Word and Excel are not pre-installed if that is what you mean. Microsoft requires a subscription to use their app based programs, but you can access the web based version for free on any device that allows or a browser, such as: Chrome, Edge, or Mozilla. You have the option to download the programs from the Microsoft Store, and if a paid subscription is in place you can freely use all of the features in these apps, but the web based free versions are available with limited add-ons and options. I have used the web based versions when I have not had a subscription and have never ran into any issue with using the free versions.
A:AnswerHey Tal,
It's likely that the preinstalled Windows version could be 23H2, but it can depend on when the device was manufactured. With system updates, you may be able to update to version 24H2 after device setup.

A:AnswerHey Berch,
In theory, the system could support two external displays, but you would need additional components to do so. This IdeaPad 1 features an HDMI port that could be used to connect the first monitor, but since it features no other ports that natively support video output, you will need a USB adapter or hub to connect the second monitor. This hub or adapter must not rely on DisplayPort Alt Mode to display video output, as none of the IdeaPad's ports support this feature.

A:AnswerIf you can purchase & download PhotoShop from The Microsoft Store then the answer is yes. If not, and/or you already have the software, the answer is no. This laptop comes with the Win11-S mode OS, which is much more secure but limits what can be installed. The "S-Mode" feature can be disabled with no fee but is is a 1-way street and can't be reversed. A quick web search willl provide the steps you would need to take to disable S-Mode.
A:AnswerHi,
Yes, you can disable the touchscreen. To learn about the process, please visit this Microsoft Support webpage for details: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/enable-and-disable-a-touchscreen-in-windows-b774e29d-be94-990f-c20f-e02892e572fc
