“When upgrading from Windows S to Windows 10 Home, the claim is that it is free. I've heard the upgrade is only good for 30 days then you have to pony up more cash to keep Windows 10 Home. Please clarify.”

• You can switch from Windows 10 S-Mode to Windows 10 Home without any charge.
