- Answer Hi Jill, Thank you for your inquiry. The system comes with 8GB of memory soldered to the systemboard and 1x 8GB SO-DIMM DDR4-3200 memory module. If you wish to expand storage, for example, you could swap out the 8GB SO-DIMM memory for 16GB and have 24GB of memory. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

- Answer Find the software you need/want. Check its website for recommended hardware and software requirements. Make an educated judgement. Aside from that sage advice, you can probably do VERY basic video editing (cutting, joining), without getting so frustrated and impatient that you want to cut your throat. Much more than that and you probably need a separate GPU, but again, the software website is your prime go-to on this question.
