The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, model number 81WR000FUS, ships with a built in 720p (HD) webcam with manual Privacy Shutter and Dual Array Microphones built in. This computer ships with Windows 10 S-Mode 64-bit Operating System. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. We recommend you check with the specific APPs software publisher's web site of the APP you want to use, for their compatibility with Windows 10 S-Mode 64-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.

    • Answer No CD, but it is not necessary nowadays . The SSD drive, 8GB memory and core i3 make it fast enough.

    • Answer I bought one for my wife to do everyday basic internet browsing and and other light duty computing...it does this with ease...If someone is using it to do gaming then that means it can handle just about anything you can ask of it as gaming requires a much more expensive computer....i do hope this helps...

  • QuestionCan this computer or any computer that is "Windows 10 Home in S Mode" run 32-bit applications. I can only find smiling people using Laptops and no answer to this question.

    • Answer This is more of an Operating System Question. Short answer is: I don't know. But , I looked this up and I got this: "If you switch out of S mode, you can install 32-bit (x86) Windows apps that aren't available in the Microsoft Store in Windows. ." from answer.microsoft.com Typically any Windows 64 bit Laptop should be able to run 32 Bit Application. I am sure there is a way to switch off 'S' mode. I hope this helps!

    • Answer It should. It’s not a Chromebook or netbook that only supports apps. It comes with Windows 10 in safe mode which only lets you use apps from the Microsoft store, but you can disable that in settings. I have Calibre and Adobe Digital Editions running with no problem
