A:AnswerWhat software are you looking to download? Also, are you talking about being connected to the internet, flash drives, cdrom, disc, etc. to download said software? All can be accomplished with the correct hardware. So, yes you can download and install software to this laptop. However, running high graphic intensive games or programs on this device is not recommended as the hardware specs are not sufficient to do so.
A:AnswerI know it's late, but if others were wondering...yes, you can download lockdown browser, we did. You do need to get if out of S mode so it would allow other downloads. Haven't had a problem not having s-mode. We've own two of these computers, one for over 2 years, the other for over 1 year.
A:AnswerBecause Microsoft over does it on security questions that are redundant and unnecessary. There is overkill on instructions to the point of confusion and nothing is straightforward and direct.
People are not stupid, especially the ones that I know that use computers but this version of Windows does not have to be that complicated...but Microsoft in it's instructions make it very confusing.
A:AnswerYou can "add a point of sale" to any computer with the correct hardware and/or software. Your question is really too vague to answer specifically.
A:AnswerMost likely not. There are tons of laptops out there with a backlit keyboard already in them. Assuming that Lenovo even made a backlit keyboard that could somehow be purchased and installed into this one, it'd be hit or miss as to if it'd even work. And it would void the warranty if you tried to add one. Either accept that your laptop won't have a backlit keyboard or buy a laptop that already has one.
