  • QuestionDoes the battery Life actually last over 7 hours since that's usually a big issue with gaming laptops? I imagine it over heats quiet easily as well?

  • QuestionIs it possible to power the laptop through one of the USB C inputs (Thunderbolt)? Or is a power brick required? Thanks.

    • Answer Hey GEvan, Yes, you can use either of the system's USB-C ports to charge the laptop. Although, to note, since this unit was not designed to use USB-C as its primary charging method, it cannot deliver a high enough wattage to the laptop. Subsequently, your system will charge slower, and even during strenuous workloads the battery may drain faster than the 140W or lower USB-C charger can supply, causing performance may drop during that time.     • Answer Hey Dosa, Both battery life, internal temperature and fan speed are based on several varying factors including in game settings, system settings, ambient room temperature, and background tasks. Hypothetically, if you were playing titles like the ones you shared with the system set to its default thermal mode, a relatively average ambient room temperature, and 1080 resolution at 60Hz, you would probably experience around 1-2 hours of battery life and the system temps should stay relatively low but fan speed may be high to help keep system temperatures in check.
