• A:Answer Hi genewildish, The Legion Pro 7i is upgradable in various ways, including swapping out the 2x 16GB CSODIMM DDR5-6400 memory modules for ones of higher memory (for disclosure, 32GB of RAM is the max memory determined for this model based on test results with current Lenovo memory offerings) and you can swap out the 2x 1TB SSD M.2 2280 drives for ones of higher capacity (1x M.2 2280 PCIe 5.0 x4 slot, 1x M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot). • A:Answer Hi there, Yes, the Legion Pro 7i features a USB-C port that supports USB Power Delivery, 65-100W. For disclosure and as a disclaimer, this unit was not designed with USB-C charging solely in mind, and by not delivering a high enough wattage to the system, your Legion Pro 7i may charge slower, and during strenuous workloads the battery may drain faster than the 65-100W USB-C charger can supply and performance may drop during that time. When completing non-graphically intensive tasks, you can use the system's MUX switch to use integrated graphics exclusively which can drastically reduce battery draw and help mitigate this. • A:Answer While Lenovo only certifies the Legion 7i Pro Gen 10 for 32gb (2X16gb) either DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM or 32gb (2X16gb) CSO-DIMM RAM, from experience I can tell you that 64gb (2X32gb) DDR5-6400 CSO-DIMM memory will work FLAWLESSLY. Your wallet, on the other hand, will likely have a HUGE dent in it after purchasing the RAM! The CSO-DIMM memory is a bit over $200 per stick right now from Lenovo.com. At least they have it, everywhere else has it on back order.
