No. There is a 30-day trial of McAfee Virus Protection Software that is factory installed and activates automatically with the initial activation of Windows 10. You do not need to use McAfee. You can uninstall McAfee and use any other 3rd party Virus Protection Software you choose. Just uninstall McAfee first as there can only be one active VPS program on the computer at a time.
