Q: QuestionHello. Thanks for the prior answer. I want to know what do the numbers mean in regard to the hard drive bays. When I click "full specs," I see numbers such as 5 and a half, 3 and 1 half etc. I'm not a hardware guru hence why I'm asking. thanks so much.

• A:Answer Hey again, Ke7zum. Thank you for the follow up request. In regard to the bays, there are different sizes and types of storage drives and each of those drives may have an accompanying bay in a system like this. For example, like in the specs section, or on the Legion T5i's product specification sheet (which can be viewed here: https://psref.lenovo.com/Detail/Legion_T5_26IRB8?M=90UT001CUS), you'll see the mention of 3.5 or 3.5", which is referring to the size of the drive. 3.5" is usually in reference to HDD drives. There's also 2.5", which in most cases is also for HDD, but some solid-state drives (SSD) can be sized for this storage bay. When M.2 drives are mentioned, this is for PCIe (connect directly to the systemboard) SSD drives that are significantly smaller in size than older style SSDs. These M.2 SSDs come in different sizes, but this system will accommodate even the largest size, M.2 2280. Hopefully this covers your request, but it not or if you have other questions, please don't hesitate to post it once more.

Q: QuestionThis machine is struggling to run MSFS. Both 2020 & 2024 are experiencing repeated glitches and screen lockups. The Best Buy associates helped me pick the machine that met the posted specs for MSFS 2024, so not sure what it could be.

Also, currently in the Lenovo Vantage app, navigate to the bottom right side of the Vantage homepage and look for the Legion Spectrum section. Here, you can make adjustments to lighting profiles.

Q: QuestionDoes anyone know how to install a second SSD to the motherboard? Where does it go? I see where the RAM sticks go on the motherboard,but not the SSD. Do certain parts have to be removed in order to expose the area where the SSD's go? Any help appreciated.

• A:Answer Hey AlamoDoc, to install the latest version of the BIOS, visit the following link (copy and paste the web address into the address bar in your web browser) to the BIOS/UEFI page for your Legion T5i: (https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/desktops-and-all-in-ones/legion-series/legion-t5-26irb8/90ut/90ut001cus/downloads/ds559461-bios-for-windows-11-64-bit-legion-t5-26irb8?category=BIOS%2FUEFI). Select 'Download' for BIOS version: O5TKT3BA, released in January 2025. Follow the on-screen prompts and enable permission and install of the BIOS. Alternatively, you can update the software via the Lenovo Vantage app. To access Vantage, type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Search window embedded in the taskbar (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the app and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the app, looking for the "Check For Updates" button. This will look for and suggest outstanding updates. Follow any instructions that may pop up.
