Will it work with a 5S phone? null

The iPhone 5S is not on the current list of compatible phones. We are in the process of testing and approving other phones. Please find the updated list of phones at jedichallenges.com/compatibility.

My texts and other notifications still pop up during play. Haven’t had a phone call I’m aware of but it seems my phone still receives info while in use.

No. It needs to be an iPhone 6 or newer or Galaxy S7 Android or newer. Kind of bummed us out too as our kids have newer phones but they still weren’t compatible.
